- Encourage an exchange of ideas and proposals among representatives of the Member States, in order to assess possible implications for mutual economic relations resulting from the U.S. Congress elections in November 2010, and the slowdown and/or contradictions of the U.S. economic recovery.
- Identify the main areas or sectors of interest and/or conflict for the region in its economic relations with the U.S., and the implications of the U.S. Congress elections in late 2010 for mutual trade relations.
