The Ministries of Foreign Trade or their equivalent institution, as well as the national authorities in charge of competition and/or consumer defence, are requested to respond to the questionnaire attached to the invitation by no later than the first week of April.

The experts appointed are kindly invited to prepare a 10-minute presentation on the topics mentioned in the attached programme. Said presentations should be forwarded to UNCTAD’s Secretariat by no later than 20 June 2011, addressed to Ms. Solange Behoteguy (solange.behoteguy@unctad.org). UNCTAD will make an introduction to each topic on the agenda, underscoring the objectives of the Sixth Revision of the UN Set of Principles on Competition. Some time will be devoted to bilateral consultations or by subregional groups. Please, inform the Secretariat in advance in this connection, in order to coordinate the consultations.
