To officially set up the Working Group on Trade and Competition in Latin America and the Caribbean with a view to analyzing priorities and discussing the regional prospects of the region as regards the topics to be discussed during the 11th session of the Inter-Governmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy of UNCTAD (Geneva, 19 to 21 July 2001) and agree on a working programme for strengthening cooperation among the Member States of the Latin American and Caribbean Group.
