This network is aimed at strengthening the exchange of experiences and best practices for promoting export and quality consortiums in Latin America. UNIDO and SELA-IBERPYME will sponsor the aforementioned network, by publicizing it and increasing its institutional visibility, so as to give a boost to its regional projects and activities.

UNIDO is directing and/or coordinating the following initiatives:

• Creation and management of contents of an online platform for the network, so as to allow member institutions to exchange information on areas of common interest.
• Creation of a directory of Latin American consortiums, with online access to facilitate cooperation relations among consortiums.
• Regular publication of informative bulletins on the activities carried out by member institutions of the network in the area of SME consortiums.
• Organization of a biannual regional seminar to strengthen alliances among member institutions and to increase visibility of the network.
