The general objectives of the workshop are as follows:

1. To analyze the status, opportunities and prospects of funds and mechanisms for financing Triangular and South-South Cooperation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean;
2. To make policy recommendations for strengthening those financial mechanisms so as to promote such cooperation modalities; and
3. To systematize available information on different funds, mechanisms and instruments for financing Triangular and South-South Cooperation projects among the countries of the region, at the bilateral, inter-subregional and regional levels.
