ITEM V. BUDGET OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARIAT FOR THE YEAR 2013 AND ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The sessions of the XXXVIII Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council of SELA were held in Caracas, Venezuela, in the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat, on Av. Francisco de Miranda, Torre Europa, Fifth Floor, Simón Bolívar Conference Room, Campo Alegre.
The Preparatory Stage took place on 17 and 18 October and the Ministerial Stage on 18 October after 15:00 and 19 October 2012.Item V. Budget of the Permanent Secretariat for the year 2013 and Administrative Matters
1. Budget
The Permanent Secretariat submitted the “Draft Administrative Budget of the Permanent Secretariat for the year 2013” (SP/CL/XXXVIII.O/DT Nº 5-12) for consideration of the Latin American Council, along with its corresponding explanatory preamble. The amount and the income and expenditure structure remain at the same level as those of the budget for the year 2012.
2. Administrative matters
2.1. Audit Report on the Financial Statements of the Permanent Secretariat at 31 December 2011.
The Permanent Secretariat submitted the “Audit Report on the Financial Statements of the Permanent Secretariat at 31 December 2011” (SP/CL/XXXVIII.O/DT Nº 6-12) for consideration of the Latin American Council.
2.2 Audit Proposal for the year 2012
The Permanent Secretariat submitted the “Audit Proposal for the year 2012” (SP/CL/XXXVIII.O/DT Nº 7-12) for consideration of the Latin American Council.
