The first session features a High Level Panel where Ministers and high level officers of trade and competition authorities will discuss the topic of Competition Policy and the Energy Market (oil, gas, and electricity). Furthermore there will be several sessions related to the topics dealt by the Working Sub-Groups of the WGTC and the topics recommended during the Second Annual Meeting in July 2012 as well as the benefits from competition policy and the supply of goods and services and the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), and competition and trade cases involving more than one SELA member state.

Participants are requested to indicate their intention to contribute until 15 August 2013 and to send their written contributions on the issues included in the agenda by no later than 10 September 2013. On the basis of those contributions, some participants will be invited to participate as panellists in the various sessions. This does not preclude the possibility for other participants in the audience to participate. The contributions should be addressed to the UNCTAD Secretariat (valentina.rivas@unctad.org).
