OBJECTIVES

The meeting has the following objectives:

  1. Analyze the economic dynamics and the trade policies of the United States of America within the context of the post-crisis global scene and their impact on Latin America and the Caribbean.

  2. Identify the current trends characterizing the economic, commercial and cooperation relations between the United States and Latin America and the Caribbean.

  3. Promote an exchange of ideas and proposals among the representatives of the Member States in order to assess future prospects and possible implications for the mutual economic relations within the framework of the post-crisis global scene.
