The “Seminar: Prospective vision of Latin American and Caribbean integration” will be held on 6 and 7 March 2018 in the “Raúl Prebisch” Conference Room at the Subregional Headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Mexico, located in Av. Languages
The official languages will be Spanish and English. There will be simultaneous interpretation.

Transport
The Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) will provide transportation service for guests from abroad, airport-hotel-airport and from the hotel to ECLAC Subregional Headquarters in Mexico City, Mexico, for the two days of the event.

To protect the safety of tourists in Mexico City, local police patrol the main tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants. However, it is recommended to take precautionary measures, such as not to walk alone late at night and only use automatic teller machines (ATM) inside banks or shops.

Health
It is recommended to avoid local tap or faucet water. Instead, drink boiled or bottled water.
Mexico City is located at an altitude of 2, 239 meters (7,343 ft.) above the sea level, and therefore some visitors sometimes experience discomfort, including difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, insomnia or even nausea during the first hours or the first day. To acclimatize faster, drink plenty of fluids, avoid alcoholic beverages and do not exercise strenuously.
