III LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN MEETING OF LOGISTIC PORT COMMUNITIES

OBJECTIVES

General objective 

The main objective of this meeting is to develop a regional agenda for trade facilitation and transport, with emphasis on the role of ports as articulators of competitiveness of logistics corridors for economic integration. This event is expected to be a high-level place for the encounter of ministries of transport, national port authorities, logistics communities and authorities for international technical cooperation. The Network of Digital and Collaborative Ports and its members will have a space to define their future as a regional partnership. 

Specific objectives 

  1. Gain knowledge about state-of-the-art ICT solutions and services in the world’s largest port systems, along with lessons learned and recommendations for Latin America and the Caribbean;
  2. Provide participants with results of qualitative and quantitative studies to measure the level of competitiveness of the port logistics chain in the main port systems and a regional overview.
