SELA to hold seminar on impact evaluation of policies for regional MSMEs
During three days, the organization will provide official delegates and institutions responsible for SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean with a set of technical skills for impact evaluation of public policies aimed at promoting and strengthening this sector
The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of the Republic of Panama and the Latin American Centre for Development Administration (CLAD), will conduct the “Seminar on impact evaluation of public policies for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Latin America and the Caribbean” in Panama City on 10, 11 and 12 September 2018.
In recognizing its importance, SELA will hold this seminar, aimed at government authorities responsible for promoting entrepreneurship, with the participation of specialists of CAF-development bank of Latin America and the Centre for Research and Teaching on Economics (CIDE).
Promoting the impact evaluation methodology as a public management tool is presented as an innovative strategy that aims, through technical rigour and robustness of data and evidence, to launch a learning process that will enable participants to identify the results of the implemented policies.
