SELA and Extenda-Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia sign agreement
The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) and Extenda-Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia join efforts to promote extra-regional cooperation, development and internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Framework Agreement was signed by the Permanent Secretary of SELA, Ambassador Javier Paulinich; the President of Extenda, Dr. Lina Gálvez Muñoz; and the Managing Director of Extenda, Dr. Vanessa Bernad González, on 21 September 2018 in Seville, Spain.
The parties will be able to carry out technical and institutional cooperation activities, namely: a) organize meetings, seminars, workshops, and consultations, as well as advance in areas of mutual interest; b) coordinate consultations in the field of development and internationalization of SMEs. In addition, they are expected to develop cooperation activities, work programmes, and exchanges of professional services and relevant printed, electronic materials for both.
The Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) is a regional intergovernmental organization that aims to coordinate common economic and cooperation strategies between its 26 Member States and Extenda-Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia, an entity that pursues the internationalization of Andalusian firms by promoting their activities abroad.
