ASPA CEO SUMMIT TO TAKE PLACE APRIL 19-20

Lima, February 9- The Third CEO Summit of South American and Arab Countries 2011, also called ASPA CEO Summit Peru 2011 is scheduled to take place April 19-20 in Lima, stated Jaime Pomareda, Director General for International Economic Negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He recalled that first the ASPA Summit was going to take place on 15 and 16 February, in the framework of Heads of State and Government (ASPA), but now there is no precise date.

He said the agenda topics for the business summit will remain the same and conferences and business meeting are also considered.

"The structure will be the same but the date will change,” said the Ambassador.

Meanwhile, Patricia Teullet, Peru’s General Manager of the Foreign Trade Society (ComexPeru) said that the insitution is organizing a business summit related to the heads of State.

“We have discovered a new Arab world that we have to be connected with, and with which we have many similarities,” she said.
