LATAM TRADE SURPLUS WITH THE U.S. AT USD 405 MILLION

Washington, March 11- Latin America's trade surplus with the United States amounted to USD 405 million in January, after a USD 457 million deficit in December, the US Department of Commerce reported on Thursday.
These figures exclude Mexico and Venezuela, both oil exporters to the US, Efe reported.
Venezuela, which is an oil exporter to the United States, recorded a USD 822-million trade surplus with the US in January, with total trade amounting to USD 2.8 billion.
Venezuela's exports to the United States increased by USD 905 million in January to USD 3.65 billion.
