Vienna, May 10- Oil pumped by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) regained some ground and rose to 108.08 dollars at the start of the week, the group said Tuesday.

Following a drop by more than 8 dollars at the end of last week, OPEC's basket price bounced back by 3.68 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Monday.

A weaker dollar provided incentives for investors outside the United States to buy oil, according to analysts.

In addition, record trade figures from Germany provided an optimistic signal about global demand for goods and commodities.
