PERUVIAN PRESIDENT IN STATE VISIT TO SOUTH KOREA NEXT WEEK

Seoul, May 2 (PL)- Peruvian President, Ollanta Humala will make a state visit to South Korea next week, following an agenda that will focus on economic topics, it was reported today.

During his visit, set for May 10 to 12, Humala is expected to meet South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and talks will focus on enhancing resources, energy and other economic cooperation, according to Peruvian presidential office.

This will be the first state visit to South Korea since Humala took office in July last year.

Both presidents held talks on September 2011 in New York, as they attended the annual United Nations General Assembly.

In that occasion, they agreed to increment the investment and exchange of assets and services from the progress made after the FTA between the two countries came into force in August 2011.
