EL SALVADOR'S VICE PRESIDENT RECEIVED CUBAN DELEGATION TO SELA MEETING

San Salvador, May 31 (PL)- Salvadorian Vice President Salvador Sanchez Ceren welcomed the Cuban delegation attending a meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) in session in this capital.

The meeting was held in one of the rooms of the hotel where the event takes place, inaugurated by Ceren, and occured in a fraternal atmosphere, found Prensa Latina.

The meeting was attended by Cuban representatives Ramiro de Leon, of the department of Economic Policy in Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and the Cuban Ambassador here, Pedro Pablo Prada.

The vice president was accompanied by the deputy minister for Cooperation for Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jaime Miranda.

Sanchez Ceren thanked Cuba's cooperation on health, education, the National Literacy Program, and biothecnology, among other areas.
