BOLIVIA TO HOST CELAC CONFERENCE ON FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION

La Paz, August 13 (PL)- Bolivia will host in November a conference on transparency and anti-corruption in the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, CELAC (in Spanish), in the presence of delegates from 33 countries, said the Ministry Transparency.
According to the head of the sector, Nardi Suxo, the meeting will take place in the central city of Cochabamba and seek to establish joint strategies to combat corruption.
Suxo stated the meeting will also serve to provide particular experiences of Bolivia in combating the scourge, such as public report implemented by the government.
Created in 2010 on the initiative of the late President Hugo Chavez, CELAC aims to create a regional space and promote the integration and development of Latin American and Caribbean countries.
