This session will address the following items: i) main trends, strategies and public policies implemented in Latin America and the Caribbean for the development of entrepreneurship programmes; ii) a description of the main programmes for the development of existing entrepreneurial ventures in Latin American and Caribbean countries; ii) evaluation and analysis of strengths and weaknesses of entrepreneurship development programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean ; and iv) identification of new forms of financing for entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean (seed capital funds, networks of angel investors and venture capital funds, etc.).
